Faculty Consultant Network
You are not alone- your colleagues are here to help!
The Faculty Consultant Network is hosted by the Center for Teaching Excellence and is composed of KU faculty members with expertise in online teaching and digital tools.
Network members can serve as discipline-based peer consultants or “thought partners” who support instructors in similar disciplines and help build community in their units. Faculty Consultants are available to meet with colleagues (including graduate student instructors) to help find strategies and address challenges in remote teaching, especially those that are common or unique to their disciplinary area. They will also help keep us connected during this period of remote teaching, learning, and working by hosting a regular Faculty Learning Community in a “virtual brownbag” or seminar format that anyone can join.
The consultant network will also meet regularly with leaders from CTE, the Center for Online and Distance Learning, and KU Information Technology, establishing an ongoing line of communication between faculty teaching in the academic units and the central support units for the transition to remote teaching.
